As we prepare to close our offices for the Christmas holiday –this year feels different because as we approach the end of this year, there is a feeling of pride amongst us.
WE HAVE JUST COMPLETED 20 WORKING YEARS AS A CHARITY
SUPPORTING OUR COMMUNITY
Our journey is outlined in our web sites, so I just have to say how grateful we are to our funders for their support over the last 20 years and a heartfelt thank you to our wonderful board of Trustee’s and all our staff , our counsellors and our volunteers who have supported hundreds of families in our community this last year..
Together we have made a difference
This charity’s Team spirit is extraordinary, from our administration staff to our counsellors & volunteer counsellors and support workers who work directly with our service users.
We know only too well that Christmas isn’t always a happy time for some families and that it has been a difficult year for many of those we have seen through our services.
My thoughts as always are with these families, and I sincerely hope that our support this year has been beneficial to you and your family. I thank you all for your kind words of appreciation and the many donations you have given to our charity, and I hope that you remain mindful of your safety and that you are taking care.
My thoughts as always are also with our wonderful team of counsellors and our Trustees who have worked so hard to deliver our projects and I thank you for your loyalty and commitment to our service users and to our charity.
I say every year and I have absolutely no doubt that I will say it again next year
